Why did it work?

1. Sell the outcome, not the free trial

Even though the prospect is not giving you their credit card number yet, they still need to make the commitment of time. For that to happen, after you hook them up with that first sentence, make sure the rest of the email is spot on.

2. Use the variables wisely

"Outcome" and "timeFrame" tags both aim to intrigue the prospect and incentivise them to read the rest of the email. What this means is that you need to be short, but sweet with it. As for "Hook" tag... if you have a SaaS product for example, turn your best feature into the prospect's most desirable outcome. You need to do your research.

3. Straightforward CTA

It’s never a good idea to overwhelm people with multiple options or to overcomplicate your closing sentence. Ask people if they’re interested with one simple and easy-to-answer question. You can give them a free trial link or ask them if they’re interested first, totally up to you.
