If your outreach stops after one email, can you really call it outbound?
Personalizing one email + a LinkedIn connect and moving on after can't possibly be called outbound
Think about it, it for sure happened to you once
you get a text from a friend/family member, you're in the moment, forget to respond and only once they follow up you're like "oh my bad sorry about that"

Top consistently book meetings you've gotta stop thinking "sexy" and find ways to be efficient
Start with at least morr than one touchpoint, each touch with the same intention.
A simple example of what actually works for my team (with a phone touch along each step!!!)
→ Email first, with a clear reason for reaching out
→ A few days later, a profile view so your name feels familiar
→ Then a connection request with context
→ Follow-up email from a different angle
→ Short LinkedIn message adding something useful
→ Final touch that gives them an easy out or a clear next step
