5 things cold outbound that I don't hear about enough
- Your best accounts aren't always buying
→ They have budget, the pain exist but timing's off.
Chasing them now = wasted energy. Wait for the signal. New hire, new funding, new problem. Then move. - Personalization is about context. No need to fake-compliment
→ "Noticed you're hiring role...". Show you see what's happening in their business. - Multi-touch doesn't mean annoying
→ It means showing up where they actually pay attention. Email fail? Try LinkedIn. LinkedIn ghost? Leave a voicemail. Different channels = different headspace. - Following up once isn't enough
→ Most reps send one email/linkedin/call and stop. But buyers are drowning in those. It takes 5-7 touches to be noticed. Persistence isn't annoying when you're adding value each time.
5.) You can't outwork bad data
→ Sending to 1,000 wrong people is worse than sending to 50 right ones. Enrichment and signals aren't optional anymore.

Relevance at the right time win and I use lemlist to help me handle it:
→ Multi-channel sequences (email, LinkedIn, calls in one flow)
→ Intent signals so I'm reaching out when they're actually looking
→ Personalization at scale without the copy-paste vibe

As they say... work smarter, not harder or work smarter and harder together 😉
