Dariia Gerasymova
In a time of ancient CEOs, heads of sales, and sales reps. A B2B arena drowned in AI and cried out for a hero. She was Dariia, a multi-channel princess forged in the heat of a battle for booking meetings.
Okay, okay.
Less drama.
But multi-channel is everything.
That’s my real story.
It was an enterprise account, and the person was a perfect fit to chat with.
I added him to a short sequence (thanks, lemlist, for making it possible to use all outbound channels, including LinkedIn voicemails, which I personally use less than I should!)
Here’s exactly what happened:
1. I cold-called him, but he was driving. 😀
2. He replied: “Send me an email.”
3. I def sent it…but didn’t stop there.
I was proactive, so I:
→ Went to a sequence step to ‘send a LinkedIn request.'
→ Triggered this voice message once he accepted.
Message:
“Hey! Not sure if you're into F1, but I might be as fast as Verstappen following up on our recent convo about…”
→ Got a reply within 10 minutes on LinkedIn! 😅
→ Turned a “send me an email” into an actual convo.
TBH, it never ended as a booked call because he appeared as a non-relevant prospect for me, but I GOT A REPLYYYYYY!
____
Moral of the story:
The channel didn’t change the outcome.
The timing + context did.
Because even this story proved the following:
Multichannel isn’t about "more."
No 12+ emails, 5+ cold calls, or 4+ DMs.
It’s about showing up at the right moment, in the right place, with the right context (!)
PERIOD.
That’s where you’ll get more replies = more booked meetings.
Which channels do you currently focus on?
