CRM activity import: see past CRM history in the lemlist timeline
When a contact or company syncs with your CRM for the first time, lemlist now imports its past CRM activity into the lemlist timeline, and keeps importing new activity logged afterwards. You no longer need to keep a CRM tab open to see what already happened with an account.
Calls, emails, meetings, notes and tasks are imported at their original CRM date, flagged as coming from the CRM, and excluded from campaign stats
Emails are split by direction: inbound shows as Email received, outbound as Email sent
At company level, only notes are imported
In Settings → Integrations → CRM → Activities, choose how far back to import (6 months, 12 months, or everything — 12 months by default), or turn the import off
Continuous polling keeps the timeline in sync with what your team logs afterwards in the CRM
Not imported: LinkedIn messages, SMS, WhatsApp, marketing emails, form submissions, page views, and anything the CRM doesn't expose through its API. Call outcome is also not imported.
This is a beta available to new teams only, on HubSpot and Salesforce (Pipedrive is not supported). Contacts and companies already synced before the beta keep their current timeline and only get future activity through polling — there is no backfill for existing teams.
If your HubSpot portal was connected before this feature existed, it may import everything except emails, with no error shown. Disconnecting and reconnecting your CRM integration fixes this by requesting the new permission.
