Track contact progress in campaigns with 4 new fields
You can now see exactly where a contact stands in their campaign, without opening the campaign. Four new computed contact fields describe progress in the contact's last launched campaign:
Last Executed Step Number and Last Executed Step Date – what already happened
Last Campaign Step Type and Next Target Step Date – what comes next
Like other lemlist computed fields, they show up as filterable, sortable columns on contacts (for example, filter on "Next target step date is before today" to find contacts whose campaign is running late). Each field can also be mapped to a HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive property from your CRM field mapping settings, so the same progress shows up in CRM views, workflows and reports.
A few things to know:
The fields always describe the contact's most recent campaign launch only. If a contact is active in several campaigns, you see the progress of the latest one, not all of them.
Next Target Step Date is the only field that empties, and only when there's no pending step left (campaign finished, contact stopped). Last Campaign Step Type freezes on the last step reached instead of clearing.
Step numbers are 1-based, and skipped steps never appear as the current step.
This is a beta rolling out team by team. Once your team is activated, a backfill fills these fields on existing contacts in lemlist. Historical values aren't pushed to your CRM automatically — the CRM starts receiving updates on the next event for each contact.
