Why did this outreach campaign work?

We love a good cold email teardown. In other words, analyzing why a specific cold email template worked and breaking it down to the smallest details so that both a beginner and an advanced player can extract value from it.

Without further ado, let's get rolling.

Ask your user feedback in a cool way.

This is not an email about your product or the feedback that you need. Quite the contrary, it's about why their voice is important and what's in it for them.

What's more, you should already have established communication with your users on customer support, Social Media, and email marketing. Use a friendly tone and get to the point, because you already know each other. Finally, the strength of your brand can play a big role too. The closer your brand to their heart is, the more likely it is for your users to respond.

Follow up, always!

No matter how good or not so good results of your first email in the sequence are, it's always a whole other picture when you add follow-up emails in there as well. Why?

Because people that don't see or respond to your previous messages could have done that for numerous reasons. With that said, you don't want to be a boring pest. A mix of a few emails and relevant content will do just fine.
