"Reference" approach

The approach that Skye and the team used here is pretty cool. You start out by mentioning that someone from your company asked you to connect with this lead, this way you capture their interest by showing that you've been talking about them. 

They also did it in a really chill way that doesn't seem like fake flattery, and they backed it up with the next part...

Personalized image

Custom images can really catch people's attention. The strategy that Skye and the Vanguard Prospecting team used with the personalized to-do list worked well!

It ties into the reference they used while also standing out from the crowd.
