We love a good cold email teardown. In other words, analyzing why a specific cold email template worked and breaking it down to the smallest details so that both a beginner and an advanced player can extract value from it.

Without further ado, let's get rolling.

Nail your targeting

Alex knew client's needs and goals, so he started the campaign with a deep research to figure out the ideal segment of people for this campaign. He targeted industry leaders in his specific niche for maximum impact and to keep it personalized.

Again, before you start sending cold emails -> do the step back and work on the research, so you can be relevant to the audience. Having a group of people who share similar beliefs, pains or looking for the same solution makes your copywriting job 10x easier too.

Be sharp in your message

Every line of this email has a specific job at hand. Starts off with a custom intro, moves to an interesting pitch... topped off with the value people can get and social proof that the concept works. Ends with a simple call-to-action.

Whenever you create emails, it might be smart to reduce the amount of text and focus on valuable and most impactful parts most. Don't write poems, but nail the messaging on how you and your solution helps solve their problem. 👌
