Why did this outreach campaign work?

We love a good cold email teardown. In other words, analyzing why a specific cold email template worked and breaking it down to the smallest details so that both a beginner and an advanced player can extract value from it.

Make your emails unique

Stan did a great job with personalization. He checked all prospects' websites and added a custom intro line that eventually became a highly-targeted ice-breaker. πŸ”₯

If you want people to read your whole email, you need to break the ice πŸ₯Ά. The best way to accomplish that is by making your intro lines unique to every prospect individually.

For example, you can make references to their website, LinkedIn profile or even a common interest between you two.

Know your audience

Their target market for this campaign were Wix Agencies. In other words, businesses who typically build Wix websites for Wix users. The sequence was created to recruit these agencies into their partner program to begin selling the coarse as a downsell.

The main goal was to book meetings, then sell the agency on becoming a partner and allow them to start selling the course as a "downsell" in their sales process.

Stan knows the market and the real pains that this audience has. You should be an expert before reaching out to anyone.
