Understand your audience well
Willow is the tool for social media. And of course, there are a lot of potential industries and niches where this tool can be implemented. But Victor chose a specific niche for this campaign. It's also worth mentioning that the audience operates in Holland, so we needed to translate this from Dutch to English.
Victor tried to make his email super specific for this audience, using references to their competitors and other players in the market.
Sometimes, depending on your strategy, the first step in your cold email is to find and identify your buyer persona. We wrote about it here.
Sharp, straight-to-the-point approach
When you research your audience in-depth, this allows you to be both practical and relevant when you write a message. You start understanding the language your prospects use, their market landscape, and current pain points or objectives they're aiming to reach.
Knowing this information makes it 10x easier to create a template and be sharp.
This is what Victor did: understand the audience, make a reference -> talk about their "pain" and the way Willow can help solve it.
