Call recording, transcript and AI summary now sync to your CRM

Calls made with lemlist VOIP now push the full picture to your CRM, not just the rep's manual note. The call activity note is now structured into four sections, always in the same order, with a horizontal rule between them: Call note, Call summary, Call recording, Call transcript. A section with no content is skipped rather than shown empty.

Because the recording, transcript and summary don't exist the moment a call ends, lemlist creates the CRM activity right away with what it has, then updates the note as the transcript and then the AI summary become available. Every call note ends up with the same structure.

  • The recording is a lemlist link that streams the audio directly, no lemlist account needed. It never expires and is only added once the recording is actually stored.

  • The AI summary is only added if one already exists in lemlist — syncing never triggers a new summary generation.

  • If a note runs long, it's cropped from the end, keeping note, summary, recording and transcript in that priority order.

  • Editing the note by hand in the CRM won't stick: the next refresh rebuilds it from lemlist.

You can control this in Settings → CRM → Activities → Calls, with independent toggles for the note, recording, transcript and summary. They're on by default.

This works with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, for lemlist VOIP calls only. Calls from Aircall or Ringover aren't covered, since lemlist doesn't hold their recordings or transcripts.
