Some moments in your sequence deserve more than another email
Right after a missed call. The day before a meeting. After a no-show. These are the moments where the lead is already thinking about you. Another email gets ignored. A short, direct SMS message lands in the place they're actually looking at.
Built for the moments between touchpoints
Sales SMS works best as a warm follow-up, not a cold opener. Use it after email, LinkedIn, or a call attempt to add a direct, personal touch at the right moment. Keep it short, relevant, and easy to act on.
After a missed call
Use case:
Let the lead know you tried to reach them. Increases the chance they pick up next time.
Before a call attempt
Use case:
Warm the lead before you dial. A quick heads-up goes a long way.
After a no-show
Use case:
Re-engage without pressure. A short SMS beats another email they'll ignore.
Meeting reminders
Use case:
Reduce no-shows with a quick reminder the day before. SMS gets seen.

Frequently Asked Questions
Bulk SMS tools send blasts to large lists. lemlist sends personalized SMS as part of a multichannel sequence, with the same variables, tracking, and inbox you already use for email.
For now you can send SMS to leads in the US, UK, France, and Netherlands. More countries are coming. Note that sending to the US requires A2P 10DLC business registration, which US carriers require to keep SMS spam-free.
Phone numbers are $15/month. Each SMS deducts 6 credits from your balance, visible in the composer before you send. SMS is blocked automatically if your credit balance runs out.
Team admins can set the daily limit per number in sender settings. We recommend 10 SMS per day, with a maximum of 30.
Both are native channels in lemlist and part of the same multichannel approach. SMS is less restrictive than WhatsApp. WhatsApp has stricter rules and Meta can ban your account faster if you push too hard. SMS feels less dynamic to recipients but gives you more freedom on how and when you use it.
