Max reached out to companies from the Salesforce ecosystem (consultants, admins, founder of SF agencies, etc) to talk to them about their development. He targeted kind of a narrow niche-> a specific type of company, with specific pains and needs.

If you're also selling services try to find a narrow micro-segment so you can make references to this. Because when you target a specific niche you:

  1. understand their pains much more (so you can be more relevant in your cold emails)
  2. speak the same "language" with them (you use the same words and definitions)

Share valuable content

One of the ways to build the trust between you and your potential leads -> content. If you pick a narrow niche and know their pains, you can create specific content that will be relevant and valuable to this audience. Try to combine outbound with content to maximize your results!
