Why did this outreach campaign work?

1. Show that you’re a practitioner

In the first two sentences, it’s important to avoid being vague or broad. Instead, you want to show that you understand the industry, intrigue your prospects by opening their eyes about a certain industry factor and do all that by using the smallest amount of words you can.

2. "Pitch" tag

When you’re selling a course, you don’t want to use a sentence “I have this awesome content marketing course”. Quite the contrary, you should aim to say something to the extent of “There’s a content marketing tactic that will help you conquer SEO in six months”. It’s just an example, but the point is to talk about the outcome your course will bring, not what it is about.

3. Personalized video

Once your "Pitch" tag intrigues your prospect and you get their attention, it’s time to utilize videos to give them a bit more context and a hook to register for your course. In this video, you could discuss one of the concepts in your course that people love and finish it with - “This is exactly what you’ll learn”.
